Finding truth is difficult, for all of us. Connecting with nature, and with our true nature, is a way to find truth. There are many answers and opinions pushed on us. To be present in nature, in the present moment, is something I think everyone can try, practice and experience. Rather than so frequently being engaged with news or media outlets pounding and pressing details about the past and future. To be present leads to inner truth.
At the beginning of the year, I asked my social media followers and students what their summer hiking or adventure goals were. Did you answer? If so, has it changed? What is your goal now? Or what ways to you feel connected to nature?
The goals helps us get out there. If your goal is to make it to the top of a mountain and you don’t get to the top, hiking partway is still worth it. The goals are not 'club' initiations or for bragging rights. It's about commitment to time and connection to nature.
Who wants to get out camping at least 3 days this summer?
What support do you need: tips on gear or how to prepare? This information is coming to you here, very soon. Happens to be one of my favorite things to share.
